Q: Tell us about the most emotional scene you've ever read in a book - and how did you react?
The most recent emotional scene I experienced was in the book Delirium by Lauren Oliver towards the end. I really don't want to spoil that moment since it is right at the end of the book, but those who have read it must know which scene I mean. I seriously cried like a little baby during that scene, lol.
Another emotional scene I experienced was in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the very last Harry Potter book out the series. I definitely cried during the battle scenes and its final result. Come to think of it, I even cried more when I realized the series was over!!! :P
What was your most emotional scene ever in a book?
Lauren Oliver does do some very emotional scenes. And everyone's got HP, but I've only seen the movies. Yikes!
ReplyDeleteThanks, as always, for visiting me, Ms. Peach! :)

OMG that ending scene in Delirium crushed my heart! I couldn't believe Lauren Oliver did that. I defiantly cried then, can't believe I fogot about that.

I didn't know Delirium was that emotional! I really want to read it, so I'll make sure I'm prepared when I do! Hope you have a good Friday :)
ReplyDeleteHere's my FF!
The ending to Delirium left me utterly shocked. It was like a hole was punched through me I just couldn't believe it. But the most emotional scene? Okay, I'll admit about half way through Ranger's Apprentice #7 by John Flanagan, I almost cried....

I love that you say that you cried even more when you realized the series was over! I know that I was pretty broken-hearted about it. Did you hear about the actor that played Uncle Vernon passing away. So very sad. Thank you very much for stopping by my FF. Old follower :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven
ReplyDeleteWhen I read that Lupin died, I was like "No no no no no!" Harry Potter just crushed me!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting @ My Book Musings :)
I've heard great things about Delirium, but the synopsis never interested me enough to read it. To be honest, the plot sounds exactly like the one from Matched, a book that I wasn't able to finish. I might give it a chance if I ever have some extra time on my hands. xD
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by! Old follower.

I haven't read Delirium yet but absolutely agree with you on Harry Potter! Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI felt the same way about the ending. It literally crushed my heart.
