Book Review: The Truth Spell (Werewolf High, Book #1)

My Rating:
Book: The Truth Spell (Werewolf High, Book #1)
Author: Anita Oh
Pages: 128 pages
Release date: November 21st 2015
Synopsis:
As soon as I stepped onto the grounds of Amaris High, I knew I'd made a big mistake. I could never fit in at such a snobbish school – I was more IT girl than "it girl". But then I saw him.

Sam Spencer. My childhood best friend. But it couldn't be. Sam Spencer had died three years ago, on the night that changed everything. I need to know what happened, why he's suddenly not dead and is hanging out with a bunch of rich kids.

When the school is hit by a truth spell, it seems like the perfect chance to find out what Sam and his creepy new friends are hiding, but the weirder things get, the less I'm sure I want to know. Even for Sam, even for the free food, Amaris High might be more trouble than it's worth.

My Rating:
Book: Henge (Le Fay, Book #1)

Author: Realm Lovejoy
Release date: November 11th 2014

Modern-day Camelot. Where knights no longer carry swords. Magic is dangerous. And those who seek control are not to be trusted.

Her dream is to become the Maven—the right hand of the future King Arthur. In the chance of a lifetime, Morgan is selected to join Arthur’s Round, an elite group of young magic users from which the new Maven will be chosen.

Along with the other fire, water, and wind users in Arthur’s Round, Morgan is rigorously trained and tested. The handsome Merlin, a brilliant water user, takes a particular interest in her. Is his friendship to be trusted, or is Merlin simply trying to win the position of Maven for himself? Among the many rivals Morgan faces is the current Maven, Mordred, who seems determined to see her fail.

But Morgan has a secret—years ago, her mother was executed for using fire magic, and Morgan’s desire for justice makes her more than ready to take on the challenge before her. Can she prevail in Camelot’s tests of survival and magic? Only time—and Morgan’s powerful fire—will tell.

Book-2-Movie?!

So as we know there are so many books out there which have been converted to movies. Some really good and others... not so good (lets leave it to that). It's common that those who have first read the book and then watched the movie have a very strong and sometimes biased opinion on the movie's outcome... and yes I am definitely one of them!

Were it the characters that made you boil inside with disagreement? The order in which the movie went forward or how they unmistakably skipped the most important part of the book!!!

Well if your are one of these strong opinionated and hard headed people like me, I think you will enjoy this post and I hope to see your agreements and disagreement to which movies you though we're a complete failure or massive success in comparison to the book.

My top three's are in no particular order.
