Q: Give us a sneak! What are you reading? Tell us about a fun or fail scene in your current read.
I am currently reading The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa and The Forgotten Queen by Annette Mackey, two books which couldn't oppose each other more than they do. The Eternity Cure journeys the reader into a disasterous and horrific world which has been taken over by Vampires, and The Forgotten Queen plunges the reader into a story which retels the Camelot tale (but then with many different twists and turns!)
I am completely loving The Eternity Cure and have already gotten a good start in the book. I have only gotten into the first few chapters of the The Forgotten Queen but so far it sounds pretty good!




Hereby I want to share a quote from The Eternity Cure:
"I'm afraid I don't have the type of drink you're looking for," [the barman] said in a low Shotgun, probably, I guessed. Or maybe a baseball bat. "Not on tap, anyway."
voice, as his hands slid under the bar. When they came up again, I knew they wouldnt be empty.






And here is a quote from The Forgotten Queen: 
Realizing what she was about to do, Merlin's voice rose in a pitch. "Vivian!' But it was too late. The magic had already begun.
"Venustas minui belluis, occluto minutum, decor reseco formositas," Vivian uttered, and with each syllable a small portion of the child's beauty diminished.

    I love The Eternity Cure and the whole Blood of Eden series - it's so well done! I haven't read The Forgotten Queen, but you got me intrigued.

    I enjoyed your review on The Immortal Rules. I haven't gotten the book yet, but I have it on my TBR list. I haven't heard of The Forgotten Queen. Nice snippet, though. I might have to look it up. Thanks for stopping by my FF earlier. :)
