Q: Tell us about the most emotional scene you've ever read in a book - and how did you react?

DeliriumHarry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Harry Potter, #7)The most recent emotional scene I experienced was in the book Delirium by Lauren Oliver towards the end. I really don't want to spoil that moment since it is right at the end of the book, but those who have read it must know which scene I mean. I seriously cried like a little baby during that scene, lol.

Another emotional scene I experienced was in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, the very last Harry Potter book out the series. I definitely cried during the battle scenes and its final result. Come to think of it, I even cried more when I realized the series was over!!! :P

What was your most emotional scene ever in a book?

  1. Lauren Oliver does do some very emotional scenes. And everyone's got HP, but I've only seen the movies. Yikes!

Thanks, as always, for visiting me, Ms. Peach! :)

  5. The ending to Delirium left me utterly shocked. It was like a hole was punched through me I just couldn't believe it. But the most emotional scene? Okay, I'll admit about half way through Ranger's Apprentice #7 by John Flanagan, I almost cried....

  7. I love that you say that you cried even more when you realized the series was over! I know that I was pretty broken-hearted about it. Did you hear about the actor that played Uncle Vernon passing away. So very sad. Thank you very much for stopping by my FF. Old follower :D Jaclyn @ JC's Book Haven

  9. I've heard great things about Delirium, but the synopsis never interested me enough to read it. To be honest, the plot sounds exactly like the one from Matched, a book that I wasn't able to finish. I might give it a chance if I ever have some extra time on my hands. xD

Thanks for stopping by! Old follower.
