Author: Marc Johnson
Release date: August 7th, 2015 by Smashwords Edition
To undo a mistake made a thousand years in the past, the wizard Hellsfire used his magic to bring down the Great Barrier that once divided the northern and southern lands. In doing so, he nearly brought war to his own homeland, and he afflicted the love of his life, Princess Krystal of Alexandria, with a potent and deadly curse.
Since then, Hellsfire has been working in Tyree with its Elemental Council, to rebuild its war-torn land and find a way to break Krystal’s curse. Now Krystal’s time is running out. As the princess fights for her life, Hellsfire learns that the wizard responsible for the curse—his old enemy Premier—is heading to the Burning Sands to steal the mysterious Jewel of Dakara.
If Hellsfire can capture Premier and learn the secret of the curse, he can save Krystal. But the Jewel of Dakara holds its own deadly secrets, and the hunt will take Hellsfire farther than he ever imagined, and cost him more than he bargained for.

The past is never gone nor buried...

Turns out Starrs is really real, and to make matters worse, Michelle’s interference awakens the Cycle of the Six Moons, a series of devastating trials that will devour the universe.

Fighting the apocalypse was way easier when danger stayed on the other side of the screen, but Michelle finds a secret weapon in her new-found powers. She uses them to rescue the crown prince of a powerful magic kingdom from their sworn enemies, a technologically-advanced cult that strives to eradicate magical blood.

Michelle starts to fall for Prince Jayse, the only one who believes Michelle to be a savior rather than a curse. But not even video games could prepare her for what the cult has in store for them…

Movie Review: The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

My rating:

After a heavy and hard day of work, managing complaints, problems and technical and complex queries, my boyfriend and I decided on a whim to finally watch the finale part of Mockingjay. This was something I did not want to pass on, since I've been anticipating towards this movie since the day I finished the final installment of the Hunger Games series by Suzanne Collins.

So with a heavy (and a little sleepy) head, I headed out in the rainy, merciless autumn stormy weather, determined to get my butt in that comfy cinema chair and display myself towards the big screen. Mockingjay. Was it everything I expected? Did it stay as close to the book as genuinely possible? Did I get my closure of the end of this beautiful series by Suzanne Collins? Well, do I have a lot to tell you.

Introducing: NearSt!

Last week I was contacted by a very interested group who have recently launched a very clever and innovative concept, which definitely benefits not only you but also your local bookstores. The concept is fresh and comes in the form of an app which you can download on your mobile or tablet called, NearSt. Now what is NearSt exactly and what does it stand for?

What is it?
NearSt's mission to get people back into their local bookshops. Some of us may forget our bookstores since everything is so conveniently in our reach through the online stores at the click of a button. But this convenience is taking a toll on bookstores around the world, and these guys want to bring a positive change. For those readers who do not always have the time to browse through bookstores, they’re given a simplified solution which benefits both parties (the buyer and your local bookstore).
