The Forgotten Queen Synopsis:

Retelling Camelot. As an infant Avalon is stripped of beauty so that all that remains are her dramatic green eyes. She is taught from birth that Arthur is her destiny. Out of curiosity she watches him in the lake and finds it impossible not to fall in love—and yet he is the king. It’s not until a love triangle between Guinevere, Lancelot, and Arthur forces Camelot to the brink of destruction that Arthur realizes what a fool he has been.

Raised in the shadows, subservient to the Lady of the Lake, Avalon rises above it all to become the true queen of Camelot. She is the forgotten queen … and the sole bearer of Arthur’s heart.

Genre: historical fantasy, folklore, fantasy

My Take So Far:

It took some times for me to get into the story as I never read anything relating to the tale of Camelot, but I am slowly but surely really enjoying this book! It has it all: Romance, thrill, suspension, and drama! My review will be up soon!

Vanguard of Hope Synopsis:

LISETVILLE, 1890 -- Murders are committed; homes are burned; family secrets are buried; an unexpected romance complicates lives. Amid the mystery and violence, a vigilante brigade emerges to administer justice.

Flowing through the intrigue and drama is a dark undercurrent that will touch your heart as you empathize with the victims.

My Take So Far:

I actually still need to really get into the book since I am only in the first chapters. So far it has a bit of a slow start as it is introducing each characters, but since the rave for this book is so high I am curious to find out what will happen next!

The Eternity Cure (Blood of Eden #2) Synopsis:

Allison Sekemoto has vowed to rescue her creator, Kanin, who is being held hostage and tortured by the psychotic vampire Sarren. The call of blood leads her back to the beginning—New Covington and the Fringe, and a vampire prince who wants her dead yet may become her wary ally.

Even as Allie faces shocking revelations and heartbreak like she’s never known, a new strain of the Red Lung virus that decimated humanity is rising to threaten human and vampire alike.

My Take:

This book was FANTASTIC! Read my (VERY) enthusiastic review HERE!

Pretty Dark Nothing Synopsis:

When demons invade her dreams and tease of her death, Quinn, and Aaron, a boy with amnesia, must find a way to banish the darkness back to the underworld for good. That is, unless the demons kill them first.

Book Summary: It’s been twenty three days since Quinn has slept for more than minutes at a time. Demons have invaded her dreams, stalking her, and teasing of her death. The lack of sleep and crippling fear are ruining her life. Energy drinks and caffeine pills don’t make a dent. When Quinn dozes off in the school hallway, Aaron, an amnesiac with a psychic ability, accidentally enters her nightmare. The demons are determined to keep them apart, and Aaron from discovering the secret locked away in his memory. Together, they could banish the darkness back to the underworld for good. That is, unless the demons kill them first.

Sophia Within Synopsis:

Only time will tell if Sophia, Alec and the world are ready to accept the mission that has been passed down for many generations. This is more than a story of reincarnation. This is a story that never ended following the reign of the Greek gods.

What has been hidden for thousands of years is about to surface in a small New England town. The impact on this rural village is ageless, but only the chosen time travelers know what is happening, the reason it is happening and how to control the outcome.

The Men of Ages have walked the Earth unnoticed since the time of Greek mythology and have kept their ancient war alive by transporting the lead warrior in a most unusual time machine. There is only one way to stop the cataclysmic demise of the human race and Sophia is the answer. But, Sophia is a teenage girl faced with many human and nonhuman desires that create a tortuous path from antiquity to the present day. Love conquers all; or, so it seems.

Description:
Waiting on Wednesday is a fun meme where the blogger 'spotlights' 1-3 books which are upcoming releases which they eagerly anticipate.

Rules:
1. Introduce 1-3 (or as many as you want) books which are soon to be released which you are eagerly anticipating
2. Explain as to why you are anticipating the release of this/these book(s)

So it is time for another W...W...W... Wednesday! I decided to switch my method of reading since last week. Due to the fact that I have so many book review requests to go through (not only from NetGalley but also from independent authors), I decided I needed to up my pace a little. Hence, I will be reading two books at once (one book from a request of an independent author and one from NetGalley)! I will see how that works out for me after a while of doing it, but so far so good! So let's start with the W...W...W...!

I am currently reading Dreamer by Jane Susann MacCarter! I received this book from the author herself and it is so far very exciting! I find it so far such an interesting and original story line and I can't wait to see where the story will bring the characters to!

I hope to have my review up by next week, but in the mean time if you want to know more about Dreamer, then please click the "Goodreads" button below or check out more information on the author herself!

I would like to present my next book which I have gleefully received from NetGalley: The Immortal Rules by Julie Kagawa! I have read and heard so much praise about this book. I started reading this book months ago when I received it via NetGalley, but since I did not have Kindle back in those days I had to read it on my laptop... and that just did not work for me.

Now that I have a Kindle I requested it again and I was lucky to receive a copy once again!

The beginning of the book already sucks you into the story and I have a confident feeling that this series might become one of my favorite ones!

If you are interested and want to know more, check out the book on Goodreads and more information about the author!

My last book which I finished reading was The Collector by Victoria Scott. I was so happy to have received this book via NetGalley since I had read a few reviews about this book. The moment I got into it I was completely in love with the story and the characters. Please read my review HERE. I seriously can't wait until Victoria's second book comes out from this series (The Liberator).

Oh, there is so much to choose from, I am a very lucky reader ;) I believe my next two books which I will read are:

The next book which I will be reading, which I have received from an independent author, is The Forgotten Queen by Annette Mackey. I accepted to take on this book due to the great synopsis, so make sure to check it out on Goodreads. Also make sure to check out the author's page.

The second book which I will be reading next is the second book out of the Blood of Eden The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa. Once I start with a series, if I can, I try to follow with the next book right after finishing the first book. In this way I can keep in the mood of the story. And besides that, I am sure that I will be depserate to continue reading (seeing the praise this series has received).

Let me know what you what you think and if you have read or heard of any of the books mentioned above! Also, share with me your WWW-Wednesday in the comments below!

 I answer three questions.

• What are you currently reading?

• What did you recently finish reading?

• What do you think you’ll read next?

Let's get to it!

Feature: WWW Wednesday

It's Wednesday and it's time to take part of a new fresh Wednesday feature. Waiting on Wednesday didn't really do it for me, because in the end... I had nothing wait for (besides the end of my endless list of books to read ). Hence, I decided that "WWW Wednesday" would be the replacing feature! This feature is hosted by Should be Reading.

So basically what happens here is that I answer three questions.

• What are you currently reading?

• What did you recently finish reading?

• What do you think you’ll read next?

Let's get to it!

What are you currently reading?

I am currently reading the Catalyst by Marc Johnson. This is so far a great adventurous book and such a fast page turner-- I'm not giving away anything so keep your eye out for my review!

What did you recently finish reading?

I recently finished reading Acting Obsessed by Peter Silverman. A fantastic suspenseful book! Please see my review here.

What do you think you'll read next?

I am looking forward to reading Moonlight Dancer by Deb Atwood. It is next on my review request list and truthfully I can't wait to get into it!

What are your 3 WWW's this week? Do you also have a big review request list? Let me know in the comments below!
